Hi, I’m Rob Mclintock.
Helping people understand their minds and create lasting change..
Over the years I've supported hundreds of people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low self-esteem and major life challenges. Whether you're struggling with overwhelming worry, feeling stuck in depression or simply want to better understand yourself, my goal is to provide practical, evidence-based therapy that creates meaningful and lasting change.
I believe therapy shouldn't feel confusing or overwhelming. One of the things clients often tell me is that they leave sessions with a clearer understanding of why they're feeling the way they do and, more importantly, practical strategies they can begin using straight away.
My approach is collaborative. We'll work together to understand the thoughts, emotions and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck, before developing realistic, achievable steps towards the life you want to live.
Every person is different, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals and experiences. Whether you're looking to overcome anxiety, improve your confidence, recover from trauma or perform at your best, we'll develop an approach that's right for you.
My Approach
I specialise in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, helping clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses interact.
Therapy isn't about becoming someone different—it's about understanding yourself more clearly, challenging unhelpful patterns and building the confidence and skills to move forward.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you feel comfortable exploring the challenges you're facing.

Outside of my clinical work, I'm passionate about psychology, health and wellbeing. I enjoy strength training, rugby and creating educational content that helps make psychology easier to understand. I believe improving mental wellbeing isn't about quick fixes, it's about understanding how your mind works and developing practical skills that support long-term change.
